Throughout Q4 2022, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in Portugal showed varied trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

World App - Worldcoin Wallet saw a slight increase in weekly downloads early in the quarter, peaking at around 3.5K in mid-October before experiencing a decline, ending the year with roughly 2.1K downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users steadily increased from about 8.4K in late September to approximately 12.7K by the end of December.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 1.7K and 2.9K throughout the quarter. The app's active user base saw a peak of around 45.9K in early November, with a slight decline to approximately 35.3K by the end of December.

Socios.com - Wallet & Tokens experienced significant growth in weekly downloads in the latter part of the quarter, reaching a high of 4.1K in early December. Active users also saw a substantial increase, from about 2.5K at the start of the quarter to around 7.5K in mid-December, before slightly declining to 6.4K by the end of the year.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH had a stable download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 981 to 1.5K. The app's active users peaked at around 32.9K in early November, followed by a decrease to approximately 21.3K by the end of December.

Sweat Wallet saw a significant drop in weekly downloads, from 2.6K in early October to just 352 by the end of December. However, active users remained relatively stable, starting at about 15.9K and peaking at around 20.5K in late October, before ending the year at approximately 16.8K.
